There are three main types of loft conversions our clients ask for:
Dormer Loft Conversion: These extend the existing roof to create additional headroom and floor space, often resulting in a square or rectangular room.
Hip-to-Gable Loft Conversion: Involves extending the hip roof to create a gable end, providing more space for a loft conversion.
Mansard Loft Conversion: Alters the roof structure to create a nearly vertical wall, maximising the usable space. This type often involves more extensive changes to the roof.

"We approached the Tecta team with our kitchen build as we had bought our kitchen from a local retailer but it needed modifying to fit our very old house with wonky walls. It was a huge job, but the team got straight to work and meticulously measured and cut every piece of our kitchen to fit. They communicated very well checking in with us regularly and they also worked conscientiously, clearing away their tools each night (to keep away from the prying eyes/hands of our children!) and they completed the job within the weekend they had planned, minimising downtime for our family without a kitchen. They worked around our schedule and nothing was too much for them- couldn’t recommend their services more and we will of course be in touch again for our next move.
